Twingly - Redesign Pitch

Brief
The goal of the project was to develop a online visual identity for Twingly Channels.

"The motto of Twingly is “Real people, real conversations”, and that is what we try to achieve. Channels should be a place where you meet other people sharing the same interests, and really connect with them through the screen. That is what we want to ultimately achieve."

The main objectives was:
- Getting rid of clutter, making the interface easier to understand and use.

- Improve user retention, bringing users to develop the habit of using Twingly Channels.

- Include inline media (images and video) into the news streams in Channels.

- Encourage users to invite other users through email and Facebook.

- Provide interaction design for a Channel directory and search.

- Increase the probability of converting random visitors into returning users.

- Improve the sense of realtime connection to other users, i.e. by showing what users are online.



My role
- Develop a interaction/design concept to fill the values in the brief.
- Design.
